By accessing or using TextAdvice ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

TextAdvice is a marketplace that connects users ("Customers") with experts and advisors ("Advisors") through a credit-based messaging system. Customers purchase credits and spend them to send messages to Advisors.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Credits and Payments

• Credits are purchased in advance and are non-refundable once purchased.
• Credits do not expire and have no cash value.
• Credits are deducted only when a Customer sends a message to an Advisor.
• Each Advisor sets their own rate per message. Rates are visible before starting a conversation.
• TextAdvice reserves the right to change credit pricing at any time.

5. Advisor Terms

• Advisors must submit an application and be approved before offering services.
• Advisors earn a percentage of credits spent on their messages, subject to the platform fee.
• Advisors are independent contractors, not employees of TextAdvice.
• TextAdvice does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of advice provided by Advisors.
• Advisors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Share personal contact information to circumvent the Platform's payment system.
• Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to manipulate or exploit the credit system.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. TextAdvice does not endorse or guarantee the advice provided by Advisors. Users engage with Advisors at their own risk. Advice received through the Platform should not be considered a substitute for professional consultation where applicable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextAdvice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

9. Termination

TextAdvice reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, unused credits may be forfeited.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
